200 ml of warm water, 200 ml of warm milk, 100 ml of oil, 10 g of dry yeast, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, 500 g of flour.
For the top: 3 tablespoons of grape molasses, 100 g of sesame.
Simit Recipe (Turkish Bagel Recipe):
Add 200 ml of warm water, 200 ml of warm milk, 10 g of dry yeast, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar into a bowl and mix well.
Add 100 ml of oil, 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix more. Gradually add the flour and knead. Make a soft dough that does not stick to the hand. Cover it and let it rest for 1 hour.
After resting for 1 hour, roll the dough into a walnut size. Cover and rest for 10 minutes. Then take 2 pieces and open them longitudinally.
Connect the ends and wrap them together. First dip it in molasses water, then sesame, put it on an baking paper lined baking tray and rest for 10 minutes. Bake it in the preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
