  • 450 gr fine bulgur
  • 300 ml hot water
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon isot or red pepper flakes
  • 125 ml oil
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp pepper paste
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1 bunch finely chopped parsley
  • 2 finely chopped cucumbers
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • 7 finely chopped lettuce


  • Pour 450 bulgur, 1 teaspoon of salt, 300 ml of hot water into a bowl. Mix well, cover, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, uncover the bulgur and add 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of chili pepper, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of isot (or red pepper flakes), 125 ml of oil, 1 squeezed lemon juice, and add tomato and pepper paste.
  • Add 1 shredded onion, and mix for 3 minutes, then mix 1 bunch of finely chopped parsley, 2 finely chopped cucumbers, 1 finely chopped tomato, 7 finely chopped lettuce mints, and serve.
